Food for Thought
I have recently stumbled across the blog Gippsland Unwrapped which I have enjoyed reading! I highly recommend following her on Facebook. In her post, 3 Guidelines For Successful Plastic Free and Zero Waste Living, she breaks down 3 extremely simple ideas that can be expanded on as much as you want or need to. I also could not get the visual for "The Buyerachy of Needs" out of my head. A very simple but effective pyramid that we commonly follow in reverse order. I suggest reading her post and expanding on it in your own world!
1. Reduce your consumption using The Buyerachy of Needs.
2. Prioritise using the 5 Rs: Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Rot (in that order)
3. Behaviour change takes longer than 21 days, setting goals help.
